[NEWS] 110723 Nine K-Pop Groups Voted at the “Best Fan Forever” Poll

The Academy of Korean Studies held a “Best Fan Forever” (BFF) poll to see which artists had the most number of fans in Vietnam. By the end of the voting period, DBSK had a total of 90,898 votes from the netizens, capturing the 1st place.

Super Junior ranked 2nd with 87,485 votes, followed by Big Bang in 4th place with 19,399 votes.

Another group who made it to the list was 2PM in 6th place with 5,032 votes, SNSD in 7th place with 4,139 votes, followed by JYJ in 8th place with 2,967 votes, Wonder Girls in 9th place with 2,856, SHINee held the number 10th spot with 2,005 votes and last but not least, BEAST took the 14th spot with 1,614 votes. Among the top 15 groups, nine of them are from Korea, showing that K-Pop is growing stronger in Vietnam as well.

[NEWS] 110529 Mnet back with “Idol Chart Show”

Mnet’s “Idol Chart Show” is back again with yet another chart ranking the fashion styles of idol members.

It’s hard to measure how fashionable idols really are since they’re always dolled up by stylists for the stage. One group recently revealed that they were even styled by others in preparation for ‘airport fashion photos’.

With that said, Mnet went ahead and picked apart the off-camera fashion styles of idol stars, ranking them accordingly. With Super Junior’s Heechul placing 20th, the list was topped off with Big Bang’s fashion-king, G-Dragon, coming in at first.

[NEWS] 110522 Final results for “Favourite Male Rapper” revealed

The DKPOPNEWS ”Favourite Male Rapper” poll has ended.

A total of 46,404 readers have voted on the poll.Super Junior’s Eun Hyuk topped the poll with more than 10,000 voted.SHINee’s Minho and BEAST Jun Hyung placed at 2nd and 3rd place with 6,053 votes and 5,709 votes.

Big Bang’s GD and TOP did well on the poll too by receiving more than 5,000 votes.

[NEWS] 110516 Minho & Seohyun, “Idols You Want to Give a Rose to on Coming of Age Day” 1st Place

SHINee’s Minho and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun each took first place as the male and female celebrity whom people want to present a rose to on Coming of Age Day.

Movie site Max Movie conducted a poll for four days from May 13th to the 16th asking the question “Who is the male celebrity to whom you want to present a rose on Coming of Age Day?” A total of 3020 netizens participated in the poll.

For the results in the male section of the poll SHINee’s Minho received the support of 53.2% (1608 votes) of the netizens and came in 1st place.

The subsequent order was 2nd place 2AM’s Jung Jinwoon 25% (754 votes), 3rd place FT Island’s Lee Jaejin 5.5% (167 votes), 4th place SHINee’s Key 4.5% (137 votes), 5th place MBLAQ’s Mir 4.2% (127 votes), 6th place Beast’s Dongwoon 3.8% (116 votes), and 7th place U-Kiss’s Woo Sunghyun 3.7% (111 votes).

For the female section of the poll a total of 2399 netizens participated and resulted in Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun receiving 44.3% (1062 votes) of the support and recording 1st place.

The subsequent order was 2nd place Kara’s Goo Hara 28.9% (693 votes), 3rd place Kara’s Nicole 8.1% (194 votes), 4th place 2ne1’s CL 6.3% (152 votes), 5th place After School’s Nana 3.5% (84 votes), 6th place Woori 3.3% (80 votes), 7th place 4minute’s Jung Jiyoon 2.8% (68 votes), and 8th place 4minute’s Heo Gayoon 2.8% (66 votes).

[NEWS] Which idol is most wanted to spend the coming of age day with? (Minho mentioned)

In Korea, the coming-of-age ceremony is celebrated on May 16 yearly so this year, a lot of attention are placed on celebrities born in 1991, who will be stepping into adulthood.

To find out who is the most wanted idol to spend the special day with, an online poll involving 100 people was conducted.

SNSD’s maknae Seohyun topped the poll followed by KARA’s GooHara and SHINee’s Minho. Other idols in the list are MBLAQ’s Mir, After School’s Nana and 2AM ‘s Jiwoon

Participants of the survey commented, “SNSD’s Seohyun is pure and feminine so it would be nice to spend and enjoy the special day with such a beautiful girl” while another netizen commented, “Seohyun’s charms is her warmth, despite her mature and sophisticated self.”
