Taemin revealed that he was pretty popular during his grade school days.
On September 26, the SHINee member was asked by MC Kim Kook Jin on MBC’s “Golden Fishery — Radio Star,” “During your grade school days, the girls confessed their love for you so many times that you thought to yourself, I should become a celebrity?”
Taemin replied, “Because I hated it when the noonas in our class came to find me, I used to run away.”
MC Kim Kook Jin then asked Taemin, “How much did these noonas love you?”
Taemin then answered, surprising everyone in the studio, “During 6th grade, I was performing for a talent show, these noonas came at the venue and all cried.”

[INF/120927] Onew reveals curfew of SHINee members


SHINee’s curfew time was revealed to the public.

On September 26, SHINee’s Taemin and Onew, CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun, and actress Kim Jung Nan appeared on MBC’s ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star’.

During the episode, Onew was asked whether SHINee had a curfew and he replied, “Yes, it’s 3 AM”, making all the MCs laugh in disbelief.

Then, the MCs replied, “That’s enough time to get drunk, wake up, and get home.”

Onew explained, “It was originally 11 PM, but Taemin turned twenty this year and the curfew hour changed.” At this, Taemin got laughs by saying, “I hope other members come home early.”

The MCs then asked Lee Jong Hyun what CNBLUE’s curfew was, to which he replied, “CNBLUE don’t have curfew. However, we manage ourselves.”

[INF/120927] SHINee’s Taemin Bought Parents “Gangnam Style” House and Foreign Car


SHINee’s Taemin revealed that he bought his parents a house in Cheongdamdong (an affluent neighborhood within Gangnam) and an imported car (which is known to be very expensive in Korea).

On September 26, Taemin made a guest appearance on MBC’s variety talk show “Radio Star” along with actor Kim Jung Nam, fellow teammate Onew and CN Blue’s Lee Jong Hyun for the special segment “Idols Whom Nunas Love.”
During the broadcast, MC Kim Kook Jin asked the idol singers, “What’s the biggest present you’ve given to your parents since debut?”

Taemin responded, “I bought my parents a house in Cheongdamdong and an imported car.” Onew replied, “I gave my parents all the money I earned. They got a new car and I’m currently saving to give them a new house.”

Lee Jong Hyun answered, “I bought them a house in Busan. Father doesn’t have a driver’s license so I didn’t get him a car.”

SHINee‘s Taemin, Onew, and CNBLUE‘s Jonghyun revealed their gifts to their parents on the September 26th episode of MBC‘s ‘Radio Star‘.

The MCs asked the three guest panelists if they had done anything special for their parents after becoming idols. Taemin answered, “I bought my parents a car and a house. The car is a foreign car and the house is located in Cheongdam-dong.” Cheongdam-dong is a wealthy ward in Gangnam and has the nickname of “Rodeo Street” for all the high-end upscale stores located there.

Onew answered, “I gave them everything. I gave them all the money I earn. They bought a car, and I’m preparing a house for them.”

CNBLUE’s Jonghyun revealed, “I also bought them a house. I wanted to earn more money so I could buy them a house in Seoul, but they couldn’t leave living near the ocean. I bought them a house in Busan.”
